Job Description

As the Temporary Payroll Associate, you will be providing customer service to our internal employees in all things payroll related. You will use excel on a daily basis inputting data in a high-paced, high-volume environment. You will also be working and researching our payroll systems for information as needed.


  • Maintains strict confidentially of all human resources, personal, and business data.
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills are needed to perform this role
  • Intermediate exposure to Payroll processing via software
  • Participate in the process and analysis of North American payroll, understanding gross to the net concept of a paycheck.
  • Completion of reports, analysis, and ad hoc projects as required.
  • Provide customer service to associate population, and human resources partners, as needed on payroll questions via email and payroll phone line. Create service requests as needed and coordinate the completion.
  • Monitor Payroll Services Inbox and Phone coverage for “Hotline” to route work to proper team members and answer questions as needed.
  • Opening US Mail, scanning, and routing as needed.
  • Responsible for identifying specific disparities in payroll data to ensure reasonable accuracy.
  • Issues off-cycle checks for rejected direct deposits as needed within company guidelines
  • Other duties as may be assigned at management’s discretion


  • Associate’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance is desirable
  • Fundamental Payroll Certification desirable
  • Experience with ADP / Workday Payroll software and/or 3-4 years of prior payroll work experience is preferred.
