The Role

Responsibilities include:

• Develop forms from 2D sketches and renderings
• High Level concept and Class-A surface modeling skills in Bezier math techniques
• Help create and develop new digital design tools for the team – we are always evolving
• Mentor junior team members as deemed necessary

Additional Responsibilities Preferred:

• Develop section proposals
• Be a team leader and when requested fully supervise team members, managing projects, assigning tasks, checking surface quality and giving guidance
• Regularly review all data for quality and use of “best modeling practice” as defined by Tesla, providing feedback as needed
• Take active measures to ensure data deliveries are met on time managing resources as deemed necessary

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of ICEM Surf/Alias experience in an automotive environment
• Catia V5 experience also considered
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
