The Social Media Coordinator will directly support the Director of Special Initiatives and take on a variety of projects to drive online engagement by creating high-quality original content for various projects.

Duties

Core Responsibilities:

• Work with senior leadership and colleagues to help plan and implement online marketing campaigns and drive engagement, traffic across social media
• Source and produce engaging content to ensure social media channels are up to date
• Develop and implement strategies to help strengthen the brand and engage our community on social media by producing compelling content
• Manage the day-to-day execution of social media messaging
• Establish community partnerships that support secure strategic partnership
• Write compelling communications and feature stories for the website and social media
• Build and edit e-communications templates
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Education: a bachelor’s degree is preferred (but relevant work experience is considered); design, marketing, communications, or other relevant field of study desired
• 3-5 years’ experience in supporting executive or senior leadership
• Stellar communication skills with exceptional written skills and a keen eye for detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat applications, Canva, Photoshop or related design programs
• Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, time management and leadership skills
• Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail with experience in copywriting and proof reading
