Job Responsibilities : Student Mobilizer-Contract-Part-time

Salary : $17 an hour

Responsibilities:
Proactively contact and visit churches and partner organizations within a defined geographic area for the purpose of mobilizing students to engage in IMB missions’ service opportunities. Visits may include meetings with leaders, speaking in worship settings, individual coaching conversations and sharing information through exhibits.
Follow up via email, social media or phone calls with interested student leaders and students providing excellent customer service, coaching and information to facilitate service with IMB.
Document conversations and activities in IMB’s customer relationship management system and submit weekly progress reports
Represent IMB at mission mobilization events sponsored by churches, partner organizations or Baptist universities.
Requirements:
Must be able to attend a weekly 45 minute team meeting via an online meeting service.***
Missions experience serving internationally with IMB
A passion for mobilizing students for missions.
Knowledge of IMB and Southern Baptist Convention (SBC)
Active membership in an SBC church.
Physical ability to live and work in a residential summer camp (dormitory or similar housing, moderate walking)
Strong verbal communication skills, with ability to connect with high school and college students
Strong computer skills in using Outlook, database software, and communication platforms like Microsoft Teams.
Good organizational and follow up skills.
