This is a full-time, salaried position with the ability to work remotely in the U.S.

The Night Reporter will work Monday through Friday from 4 pm to 12 am EST and report to the Sr. Night News Editor.

Role and responsibilities

• Write digital stories in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Pitch unique and timely stories that bring Newsweek to the forefront of the news conversations of the day
• Have a keen eye for newsworthy moments, stories and trends, and ability to spot stories before our competitors

Skills and experience

• At least two years experience in journalism
• Excellent news judgement across a range of subjects
• A quick, clean writer.
• The ability to work fast under pressure is essential.
