Northway Academy is seeking a Billing Coordinator to join our team of dedicated professionals. This is a work from home position.
Responsibilities/Duties:
The Billing Coordinator is responsible to gather verify and process billing information to assist with accurate and prompt reimbursement for services delivered. An ideal candidate would possess the following:
  • Attention to detail for proofing reports day to day billing entries and other duties as assigned
  • Exceptional Organizational skills to be able to multi-task throughout the day
  • Skilled in Verbal and written communication with parents co-workers and others

Duties to include but not limited to are;
  • Proof all shifts/data in billing system for accuracy on a daily basis
  • Review documentation and process new hires in to the appropriate programs (ADP/Central Reach MPSE Portal and NPPES)
  • Submit documentation in to Kepro for authorizations and follow up on those needing new ones
  • Collect documentation and Communicate with parents and others re: documentation needed and follow up to make sure CMDE appointments are made before they expire
  • Check MN-ITS and Kepro daily for new communications
  • Update spreadsheets as new information is received
  • Respond to all communications promptly and respectfully
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Continued education or experience with accounting is preferred
  • Experience working with medical claim filing or volume data entry
  • Experience working with Excel spreadsheets Word Documents and GoTo Meeting
  • Ability to operate office equipment
  • Competency in keyboarding data entry typing and business skills
  • Demonstrated ability to carry out assigned job responsibilities and complete required documentation meeting all deadlines
  • Access to High Speed Internet at home
  • Knowledge and understanding of applicable Federal State and local regulations
  • Eligible as determined by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension the Department of Human Services and the Company’s Corporate Compliance Plan
